ECCV 2026 FAQ
Welcome to Malmo and ECCV 2026!
Getting around is simple – from the Copenhagen airport, follow the signs for trains. You will see Skanetrafiken red kiosks in the hallway. Purchase a ticket to the Hyllie train station (around 150 SEK). Go to track one to catch any train and it is the very first stop. At the top of the escalator, you will be able to see Malmo Arena where the registration badge-pickup will be located.
Malmo Arena is home to workshops, tutorials, lunch, keynotes and long orals
MalmoMassan (just behind the Arena) is home to workshops, tutorials, posters and odd-numbered spotlights
Malmo Arena Hotel (connected to the Arena) and Quality View Hotel (just behind the train station) are home to workshops and tutorials.
Coffee will be available in Quality View and the Arena during scheduled breaks. Coffee breaks are also available in MalmoMassan.
Badge Pickup hours: (busiest times at 7:30-9:30 – try to avoid if possible!).

Please make every effort to come during an off-peak time to avoid lines and to avoid delay to your session. Have your QR code or confirmation number ready for quicker badge retrieval. (this is available on the app!) You may not pick up materials for a friend without the QR code or confirmation number.
Reminder – there will be NO BADGE reprints.
Please check your workshop/tutorial schedule on the virtual site OR on the app! We do not have printed program guides. Download the app for updates. An email was sent or you can look for Cvent in Apple and Google and then search for ECCV to find what you need.
Other materials:
- POSTERS – If you have ordered from Nordic - These will be in at the poster distribution center inside the MalmoMassan Exhibit Hall. Please pick up your poster during the posted hours: 9:00 – 16:00 each day.
- T-SHIRTS - Will be available starting Thursday in the Exhibit Hall. Only full registrations have this option. You must have your badge with the t-shirt selection on the back and cannot change the size until Saturday afternoon if options remain. The hours for pickup at from 9:00 – 16:00 each day.
VIRTUAL
The virtual site is up and available to all applicable registrations via the website here. All full registrations also include access to the virtual site! The keynotes, keynote panels, long orals and spotlights will be streamed. Workshops and Tutorials are individually organized. Many will have a virtual option and will record the session. All main conference papers have a video and pdf.
A few onsite details:
- Breakfast is not provided. Please enjoy at your hotel! Lunch is available in Malmo Arena (check out the map onsite at registration or in the app). Lunch is 1.5 hours long and your badge has your lunch selection on the back. Please pick up the appropriate option that you’ve reserved. There is seating outside of the Arena – you are welcome to take your lunch anywhere you’d like. Meal functions and all events are for registered attendees only. Guests are not permitted. Lunch on the 10this the same for everyone without dietary restrictions (no sandwich available this day)
- Water is available in each building. You will pick up a conference water bottle at registration!
- WiFi is available. This information will be included on your badge, and you do not need a password in any building.
- Please be courteous when you are in sessions and there is a speaker. Cell phone usage interferes with AV sound equipment.
- Questions during each session can be submitted via the ECCV virtual site!
- Daycare is available only to those who contracted the service. Children are NOT permitted in session rooms, at meal functions or on the exhibit floor. No exceptions.
- Accessibility – all locations are fully accessible. Please ask staff if you have any concerns.
USEFUL NOTES:
- Luggage Storage will be available on Saturday only in MalmoMassan until 18:00. There is a cloakroom in Malmo Arena each day, but they are not equipped to handle luggage. Please leave it at your hotel.
- If you are an exhibitor but have registered for full conference access, you can gain access to the exhibit halls early by obtaining a wristband from Hall Erickson. They will be posted outside of the exhibit hall.
- There is a mother’s room and quiet room available in Malmo Arena. Check the map at registration or the app for location information.
- Guests are permitted at the reception with a purchased ticket. That option is now at capacity. You will be able to get the guest badge on the 11th after lunch.

- There is a mall with food options (Emporia) directly across from the Arena.
